Kate Walsh wants women to smell like a billion bucks.
The Private Practice star is going public with her second perfume, Billionaire Boyfriend, a black jasmine and golden amber homage to “the fantasy of decadence,” as she puts it, of Learjets, mega yachts and Monte Carlo — “the ridiculousness of the high roller.”
So no, 99 percenters, this billionaire, which goes on sale at Sephora today and on HSN tomorrow, is “not about celebrating the guys on Wall Street who may or may not have stolen everybody’s pensions,” clarifies Walsh, 44. The actress is trying to capture the essence of a different kind of dude: The Champagne-showering boyfriend you had, have or wished you had, whose smell lingers on your shirt, in your sheets or in your imagination.
